'Drive them all out': people in Lisbon street footage, marked for expulsion by their looks.
The AfD took 44 percent of the vote in the Saxony-Anhalt state election of September 6, and on September 9 Chancellor Merz told the Bundestag that the AfD remigration plans amount to ethnic cleansing. The same day RadioGenoa posted footage of migrants in Lisbon on X, captioned: "Let's drive them all out and make Europe great again; we have no other choice." The people in the footage are identified by nothing beyond how they look. The demand is for their removal, and the all extends it from one Lisbon street to the whole of Europe. The RadioGenoa post drew about 149,874 views.
Drive them all out is a demand for mass expulsion, and it is aimed at people picked out by appearance alone. Nothing in the post separates a citizen from a visitor from a new arrival; whoever looks like a migrant in a Lisbon street is included. That treats a group defined by how they look as something to be cleared from a continent.
We have no other choice settles it. The line closes off every response short of removal, so the reader is told that expulsion is forced on Europe by the presence of these people. A fair-minded reader should notice that the post shows people walking through a city and calls that a reason to drive them out.
