On September 10 Geiger_Capital described a stabbing by "A 26 y/o black man" and called him "the animal", reaching 262,466 impressions. The same day RadioGenoa posted on X: "In London, if you aren't white and Christian, you can steal and no one tries to stop you." The post describes no theft and cites no figure. It says that Londoners outside those two categories steal, and that the city lets them. It drew about 55,529 views.
The sentence sorts Londoners into two groups by race and religion and gives one of them a crime. Anyone who isn't white and Christian is, on this reading, a thief the city has decided to tolerate, which makes theft a trait of everyone outside the two categories. No one in the sentence has actually stolen anything.
The repeat settles it. Making the same claim on consecutive days, and naming the mayor as the one who permits it, shows the post is an argument about who Londoners are, with the mayor as the official who lets the wrong ones off. A fair-minded reader should see that the sentence contains a city, two categories and an accusation, and nothing that could be checked.
