Mass migration renamed 'ethnic contamination,' with remigration as the cleanup.

What was said

A fire destroyed 42 shacks housing migrants in the Tarajal warehouse district of Ceuta overnight on September 10 to 11, and posts about migrants in Europe ran hard on X through September 11. The German Chancellor had spoken of ethnic cleansing, and on September 11 NaomiSeibt answered him on X: "What does he think mass migration is? Ethnic contamination?" The question treats migration into Germany as pollution of the German people, which makes removing migrants the remedy. The same day RadioGenoa wrote that migrants in Ceuta "rummage through the trash like rats". The NaomiSeibt post drew about 89,796 views.

Why it counts

Contamination is a word for dirt in water or poison in soil. Used about migrants it says the people themselves are the pollutant and the German population is the clean thing being spoiled, which takes them out of the category of neighbors and into the category of waste. A whole group is defined by ethnicity and described as filth.

The question mark settles it. Asking what else mass migration could be, with contamination as the only answer on offer, is a way of saying the word while keeping the option of denying it. A fair-minded reader should take the sentence at its plain meaning, that migration is pollution and removal is the remedy, and note that it was written in defense of remigration.
