What was said

No single event sits behind this run of posts, all published by LauraLoomer on X on September 11 about Somali people in Minnesota. She wrote that the state "has been invaded by Somali Muslims". In another post she attached a national IQ figure to Somali people, called them frauds and liars, and wrote: "These low IQ African Muslim invaders need to go back to where they came from." Intelligence, continent, religion and the word invaders are stacked into one description of a people, and the demand that follows is removal from the country. No individual, incident or place is named. The post drew 87,954 impressions.

Why it counts

Low IQ says Somali people are less intelligent by birth, and the figure attached puts them below the line for disability, which is the old claim of racial inferiority in numbers. Invaders says their presence is an attack. Go back to where they came from is the conclusion those two premises are built to reach.

The word these settles it. The post is about the whole group, and frauds and liars is added to the group as well. A fair-minded reader should take this as Somali people declared inferior on race and religion and told to leave the country.
