On September 11, the 25th anniversary of 9/11, a clip of Mayor Mamdani smiling at Ground Zero spread widely, and LauraLoomer used it to ask Trump for a Muslim ban. On September 12 she posted on X: "Muslims have no respect for our country." She then described a man with a profane abbreviation, wrote that he "ran onto the field with his Palestinian flag on 9/11 at 9:11 pm", and finished: "You do not hate these people enough." The first sentence is about Muslim people as a whole, and the last is an instruction to the reader about how to feel toward the group. The post was seen 551,238 times.
One man ran onto a field with a flag, and the post makes that the conduct of every Muslim person, who are said to have no respect for the country. Then it tells the reader that hating these people more is the correct response. That is an instruction to hate a religious group, with a single stunt as the reason.
The last sentence settles it. Hate is the word chosen, these people is the group, and enough says the reader's current level is too low. A fair-minded reader should take this as a direct call to hate Muslim people, sent to a very large audience the day after the anniversary.
