No single event sits behind this run of posts, all published by LauraLoomer on X on September 11 about Somali people in Minnesota. She wrote that the state "has been invaded by Somali Muslims", and, of somewhere Somali people live: "It's a war zone because they are uncivilized people who don't know how to live in peace." The post names no incident behind the war zone claim and no person. Whatever violence there is gets explained by the nature of the people, described as Somali and Muslim, and the remedy offered elsewhere in the run is removal. The post drew 60,969 views.
Uncivilized is a word that puts a people outside civilization, and don't know how to live in peace says violence is their nature. Attributing that violence to Islam extends it to every Muslim person. Nothing in the sentence could be fixed by anyone's conduct, because it's about what they are.
The last claim settles it. Saying no Somali should be allowed to live in the country is the expulsion that inferiority claims are built to justify. A fair-minded reader should take this as a people declared savage by nature and marked for removal.
