A practice of child abuse, signed off as 'This is Islam.'
No incident sits behind this beyond two video clips. On 31 August 2026 the X account RadioGenoa posted a clip it said showed children dancing for men in Afghanistan, Pakistan and other countries where Islam is followed, writing that the children "are bought and end up in bed with them," and closing "This is Islam." It drew 104,715 impressions. The same day the account posted a clip of a girl, Shaima, 10, said to be forced to marry Muhammad, 25, quoted in tears: "My family forced me." That drew 91,225 impressions. The claim is that child abuse belongs to the religion.
Bacha bazi is real and it is abuse. The closing sentence is the item: it takes the practice away from the places and the men who carry it out and assigns it to the religion as such, and with it to everyone who follows the religion. No sect, region or individual narrows the claim once those three words are said.
Attributing child sexual abuse to a whole group is the hostile charge here. The slur worked into a country's name shows how the post regards the people it is describing.
