A list of ordinary Muslim life, ending in 'don't come to Europe.'
In early September 2026, several European countries moved against Muslim dress and practice. On 3 September 2026 French women launched a headscarf campaign against a far-right proposal to ban the garment, Austria moved toward a constitutional ban on political Islam, and Portugal banned full-face veils in public. Rupert Lowe said Britain must copy Austria. Days earlier, on 31 August, the account RadioGenoa posted a list including "halal meat, a mosque, a wife and daughter in hijabs", a ban on alcohol and objections to barking dogs, and told anyone who wants those things "don't come to Europe. Simple." The post drew 203,596 views.
Most of the list describes ordinary Muslim religious life: food rules, a place of worship, dress. The conclusion drawn from it is exclusion from a continent, so the thing being excluded is the religion and the people who practice it.
Polygamy and the dogs are the additions that do the work of making the whole faith look alien. They sit in the list as if they weighed the same as halal meat, and the reader is invited to take the package whole.
