'Is she black? Yes.' Race, entered as one of the charges.
On 31 August 2026, Laura Loomer described Florida Senate nominee Angie Nixon, Ilhan Omar and Ayanna Pressley as "ghetto, entitled, race-obsessed, destructive black" women. House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries answered by calling Loomer a "stone-cold racist." Later that day Loomer replied on X, standing by the phrase she had used about Nixon, which paired "ghetto" and "black" with "communist" and a profane word for women. She laid it out as a checklist: "Is she ghetto? Yes Is she black? Yes Is she a communist? Yes I spoke the truth." The post reached about 1.85 million views.
The defense is the evidence. When the insult is broken into parts and each part is affirmed as true, 'black' sits in the list beside 'ghetto' and 'communist' as one of the things that is wrong with her. Race is entered as a charge.
'Ghetto' is a racial code word that lands on Black women in public life and on almost no one else. This post, at 1.85 million views, opened a script the account ran all week, the same words applied to five Black women by Saturday.
