'Another' Black congresswoman, filed under the same four words and called a 'heifer.'
On 31 August 2026, House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries called Laura Loomer a "stone-cold racist" after she described Florida Senate nominee Angie Nixon, Ilhan Omar and Ayanna Pressley as "ghetto, entitled, race-obsessed, destructive black" women. Loomer answered on X the same day, defending the wording, in a post that reached 1.85 million impressions. She kept going over the following days. On 2 September she wrote that Rep. LaMonica McIver "is another ghetto black communist" followed by a crude word for women, said she "doesn't belong in Congress," and asked what "this heifer" knows about class. That post drew 954,730 views.
'Another' is the word that matters. It ties McIver to the same four-word label the account put on Angie Nixon two days earlier, and by the end of the week five Black women in public life carried it. A label that transfers from one woman to the next on sight is about the category, and here the category is Black women in office.
'Heifer' is an animal word, applied to a sitting member of Congress. 'Ghetto' is a racial code word that attaches to Black women specifically; set beside 'doesn't belong,' it makes race the reason for the exclusion.
