What was said

On 31 August 2026, a thread on X was discussing Rubio's threat to withdraw US forces. Under a post by the account dimitrilascaris, an account posting from Greece as drGraecoroman replied in Greek. The reply cursed Muhammad and called him a pedophile, attached an insult about sex with animals to Pakistani people, and ended, in translation, "I hope Rubio drops nukes on them." So it named a nationality and wished a nuclear strike on them, and the line about Muhammad reached Muslim people too. The reply drew about 2,700 impressions.

Why it counts

The structure is insult, then wish. A whole nationality gets an animal-sex slur, and the next sentence hopes for a nuclear strike on them. That is a call for mass death against a national group, stated outright, with the insult to Muhammad widening the target to Muslim people.

The thread it sits on is a policy argument about American forces in Europe, and the reply carries none of it. It is in Greek, which puts it outside the English-language accounts we track; we kept it because it sits on an English-language thread from a Canadian account and the content clears our highest level of severity without any inference.
