One assault, converted into a law about 'them.'
Over four days in late August 2026, four accounts on X posted material presenting migrant men as a sexual threat to white women and children. There was no single incident behind the week beyond clips the accounts passed around. On 25 August, DavidVance wrote that "no child should be raised in a country full of predatory migrants." On 26 August, RadioGenoa shared an assault clip, and NickTenconi paired a rape figure from 2001/02 with a foreign-born population estimate. The post on this card is RadioGenoa's, on 27 August: "He beats an Italian woman, and no one stops him. No white woman is safe with them around." It was seen 94,816 times.
The first sentence describes one man. The second indicts a class. “Them” is where the crime leaves the person who committed it and gets reassigned to everyone who looks like him.
Threat construction is the entire content: white women in danger, a racial group as the danger.

"He beats an Italian woman, and no one stops him. No white woman is safe with them around."
One item from a weekly pass over the news and the reaction to it. Most of what gets said that week doesn't cross the line and isn't here.
