What was said

On 26 August 2026, crowds in Ceuta attacked migrant camps on successive nights, burning shelters, throwing belongings into the sea and blocking Red Cross food deliveries, with sweeps organized through WhatsApp groups. That came a month after tens of thousands crossed from Morocco. Spain asked Frontex and Europol for support. Online, the arrivals were described in military terms. On 29 August, the X account RadioGenoa posted, "There are 45 million Muslims in Europe. Is there still anyone who believes this isn't an invasion?" It drew 56,573 views. The claim being made is that the number of Muslim people in Europe is itself an invasion.

Why it counts

The number is the entire case. Nothing anyone did appears in the post. Existing in Europe, in that quantity, is presented as the attack.

When a population figure alone proves invasion, every Muslim European is enlisted in it by definition.
