What was said

Lampedusa is an Italian island where migrants arrive by boat. On 28 August 2026, the X account RadioGenoa posted about them, calling them "the invaders in Lampedusa" and saying they "hide among tourists to avoid capture." The post then told readers what to do about it: "Capture them and bring them into Italian Parliament or in homes of politicians." So it is an instruction to seize people and deliver them somewhere, aimed at readers of the account. The post drew 44,044 impressions.

Why it counts

The delivery address is a joke about politicians. The verb is not. Capture means civilian hands seizing people whose offense is having arrived.

The register can be argued. The feed it ran in cannot, because the same account spent the week applauding exactly this kind of hands-on action in Ceuta.
