What was said

Between August 24 and August 29, 2026, posts on 4chan's /pol/ board and on X described Indian and South Asian people as filth, vermin and invaders. Threads called Indian Hindu people "rape rats burrowing and infesting everywhere" and demanded their killing, and one urged readers to hate Indian people through an ethnic slur. On August 27 JackPosobiec wrote that H-1Bs are "flooding Southeast PA." On August 28 MaximeBernier, a federal party leader in Canada, posted on X that he was fed up with Indian people "polluting" the country, asking, "Am I the only one?" The post drew 43,957 views.

Why it counts

Polluting is a contamination metaphor, and it attaches to a nationality; no conduct is named. People become the substance that fouls a country by being in it.

The closing question carries no policy content. It exists to recruit agreement, from an account with a federal party behind it.
