'Gutter' as a label for Muslim critics, with a conspiracy asked as a question.

What was said

On 28 August 2026, there were calls on X for Milo Yiannopoulos to be released. The US activist Laura Loomer posted about those calls that same day. She used a gutter epithet for the Muslim users on the platform who had objected, and said they want Yiannopoulos, whom she called an illegal alien, to be freed. She added "Gee, I wonder why?" and asked whether Muslims had been "helping Milo finance his lifestyle in the US as an illegal alien," which cast Muslim users as hidden funders. The post drew 102,120 impressions.

Why it counts

'Gutter' degrades the critics as a bloc, and the questions convert their objection into evidence of a hidden financing network. Nothing is asserted that could be checked; the question mark is the deniability wrapper.

The construction hands the group filth and conspiracy in the same breath.

"The gutter Muslims on X want illegal alien Milo Yiannopoulos to be freed. Gee, I wonder why? Were Muslims helping Milo finance his lifestyle in the US as an illegal alien?"
