On July 4 Sneako posted that Argentina is the Israel of South America. Four days later he posted that the 2030 World Cup is “just going to be Messi and ten IDF soldiers shooting you in the fucking face.” The second post drew 831,600 views and about 45,000 likes.
The first line points at something real. Milei’s Argentina and Israel have moved closer together and that's a normal thing to comment on.
The second attaches killing imagery to an entire national military inside a joke about a football tournament, which is where it stops being commentary about a government. CyberWell, tracking antisemitism for JTA, places both posts inside a wider run of Messi and Argentina and Israel material that carries hidden-hand tropes by implication rather than by statement.
