At the July 29 Senate Homeland Security hearing where Rand Paul questioned Fauci about his diary and Fauci pled the Fifth 111 times, MSNBC's Lawrence O'Donnell called the proceedings a Stalinist tribunal. The same week, a chef publicly alleged Rand Paul was himself vaccinated.
There is real research here. A peer-reviewed study finds a widening ideology-linked health gap tied partly to declining conservative trust in personal doctors since the pandemic.
It measures a composite of blood pressure, cholesterol, glucose, BMI and inflammation, not deaths from refusing a vaccine, which is what the phrasing implies. The hypocrisy claim rests on one person's recollection with no record behind it, and the diary the hearing was about isn't the nothing its critics describe.
