A US federal magistrate in Miami set an August hearing in the extradition proceedings against Andrew and Tristan Tate, who face UK charges including rape, sex trafficking and offences involving indecent images of a child. Their attorney Joseph McBride argued at the hearing that the case is politically motivated.
Defendants argue that prosecutions are politically driven, and sometimes they're right, so the claim is worth checking rather than dismissing.
