An attack in Berlin was used to argue about a British coalition.
After an attack on a Berlin Pride event, a British carrier argued it demonstrated that a left-sponsored alliance between organised political Islam and LGBT organisations is one its participants can't sustain.
The tension pointed at is real and ordinary. Left-of-centre politics in Britain draws support from socially conservative Muslim voters and from LGBT voters, and their positions on sexuality conflict.
The attack doesn't demonstrate anything about that. It was carried out by a man already convicted over an attempt to join ISIL, on a target chosen for what it was. Turning two constituencies inside a governing coalition into an alliance with a single will is where the claim leaves the evidence.

Both prongs clear. The primary object is the composition and durability of the opposing camp's coalition rather than the merits of any policy, and three operations are present. The claim that the attacker was an Islamist is not coded: the German interior minister said so on the record, and reporting a documented official statement is journalism. What is coded is the move from that attack to a claim about a British political alliance. The clustering bar is met by a single carrier at official tier. Country is assigned to the trigger event's arena, Germany, while the claim itself is entirely about Britain, which is stage one localisation of a foreign example under the geography rules rather than convergence, and is why geo spread is cross border rather than national; the mirror was accordingly searched in British discourse. Capture latency from the attack to the first codable claim was about thirteen and a half hours.
